juice cleanses are typically done for one to five days.  we love a one-day cleanse to get you back on track.

due to the short shelf life of our juice, we can only provide three-day cleanses at a time.  if you would like to do more than a one-day cleanse, please give us two days advanced notice (the more lead time the better!).

you will receive six juices, a cashew almond milk, and a refillable jug of ionized alkaline water for each day of your cleanse. 

before your cleanse...

the purpose of a cleanse is to detox your body so it’s a good idea to start the process ahead of time to avoid a rough transition. 

during

we have designed the cleanses to be consumed in the order which we think is best to enjoy throughout the day.  but you do you.  if you want to mix it up, that’s ok.  just be sure to save the cashew almond milk for last and drink the ionized alkaline water in between juices!

it is best to drink the juice slowly, chugging is not a good idea.  try “chewing” the juice to stimulate your digestive system.  space your juices a couple hours apart and drink the ionized alkaline water in between juices.  if you run out of ionized alkaline water, regular water is fine too!

water is one of the most important components of the juice cleanse…it is how the toxins leave your body!  on a normal day, recommended water consumption is determined by:

body weight ÷ 2= # ounces water/day

(example:  140 lbs= 70 ounces of water/day)

exercise:  take it easy while you cleanse.  your organs are working hard to rid the themselves of toxins so take some time to slow down.  yoga or light walking are good options.

after

congratulations!!!!  you did it!!!   now is the time to experience the benefits!

the best way to ease out of a cleanse is the same as before you started.  start with whole fruits and vegetables and gradually add in whole grains, lean meats, etc.  take it slow and listen to your body.

and now for the legal stuff...

the thrivery is not meant to treat, prevent diagnose or cure.  our juices are raw and have not been pasteurized and, therefore, may contain harmful bacteria that can cause serious illness in children, the elderly, and persons with weakened immune systems.  always consult a physician if you need help determining whether raw juice is appropriate for you.  raw juice is highly perishable; consume by date marked on bottle. thrive juicery is not a nut-free facility.

we recommend you stick to the 6 juices, 1 cashew almond milk, and plenty of water.  if you need to eat, we recommend raw vegetables like cucumbers, celery, or a handful of nuts.  

yes, but take it easy.  yoga or light walking are best as your body is working hard internally to flush out all the toxins.

it is normal to feel tired or have a headache while on a cleanse.  following our protocol before your cleanse and drinking lots of water can help alleviate these symptoms.  during a cleanse, your body is hard at work getting rid of the toxins so fatigue is very normal.   

if at anytime you feel like the cleanse is too much for your body to handle, we recommend you stop.  start eating raw fruits and vegetables and drink the juices as tolerated.

yes!  drinking decaffeinated tea while on a cleanse it great.  

the green juices and the cashew almond milk do have protein.  remember though, digesting protein is a lot of work and the cleanse is a break for your digestive system so reducing protein is all part of the plan!

we do not recommend pregnant or nursing mothers do a juice cleanse.

yes, we do advise that you consult your physical before starting a cleanse.  especially if you are taking any prescription medications or have a medical condition.
